Synthesia Expands to Seattle, Hires Amazon Veteran Brett Taylor

Today we're announcing that Brett Taylor is joining Synthesia as Director of Engineering, leading our new US West Coast team based in Seattle. Brett brings 20+ years building foundational products at Amazon and a track record of turning ambiguous ideas into category-defining businesses.

As AI video adoption scales globally, Synthesia is building a global engineering organization across time zones and markets. Seattle gives us access to world-class technical talent and positions us to scale support and product development across the Americas. With 90%+ of the Fortune 100 as our customers, this team will be building products and services for some of the world's largest enterprises.

Brett will build and lead a team focused on our APIs-first engineering organization that will accelerate how developers integrate Synthesia into their own applications and workflows.
