In this lesson, you'll learn how to preview a video before generating it and how to add captions to your video.

This project update template features:

Video script

Kevin It looks like you’re almost finished creating your video. You’ve written the script for your actor, you’ve set up the frame, and maybe even added a few images and videos to your frame. Roll camera, and…hold on, it’s my producer, Maia. Maia, what’s wrong?

Maia You should always check your work before yelling action. Before you hit the “Generate” video to send my project off to the AI studio to shoot, you should check your work one last time.

Use the preview button to check your actor’s voiceover and that your scene matches what you want. Something to keep in mind is that your actor won’t animate when previewing your video so don’t worry if you don’t see them moving.

Once you’re feeling good about this advanced screening, click the Generate video button. Here you can give your video a title and a small description for your notes.

You’ll also get to choose whether or not you want captions to appear at the bottom of your video. I suggest adding captions to make your videos more accessible to your viewers.

If you want the .srt files, you’ll be able to download those separately once your video has finished production. Click the dropdown menu on the top right of the screen, then click on the "download subtitle" button. Now, you’re ready to roll tape, Kevin!

Kevin Thanks, Maia. I caught a few mistakes so that definitely saved me some time and money. I’ve also hit the preview button to check my work one last time. Now I get to hit the generate button. Roll camera, and Action!
