We are thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for Synthesia in the UK as we move into our brand new headquarters located at the renowned Regent’s Place campus in central London.

A warm welcome from the Secretary of State and the Mayor of London

On July 2, our leadership team alongside the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology Peter Kyle and the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan welcomed Synthesians to an expansive 20,000 sq ft workspace at 20 Triton Street, marking an important milestone in our continued growth.

Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology, Peter Kyle said: "Synthesia's expansion isn't just great news for London - it's further evidence of the strength of Britain's tech sector and the environment we are building to support more and more home-grown companies to thrive in the digital age.

"This move represents their latest milestone after passing $100 million in annual revenue this year, and by continuing to invest in a brighter future driven by domestic talent, Synthesia will go from strength to strength as a standard bearer for British tech on the world stage."

‎The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan said: “London is the best city in the world to live, work and build a business and Synthesia has gone from strength to strength since City Hall’s initial investment into the company seven years ago. Their move to a bigger, brighter headquarters in the capital’s Knowledge Quarter further cements Synthesia’s reputation as a global leader in AI and London’s reputation as a place for businesses to thrive.

“I will keep working to ensure that London continues to be a global hub for AI investment and innovation as we build a better, fairer, more prosperous London for everyone.”

A new chapter for Synthesia

This bespoke office has been thoughtfully designed in collaboration with British Land and Metric, specifically tailored to reflect and enhance Synthesia’s innovative and collaborative spirit. It is a modern, flexible environment intended to foster creativity, teamwork, and productivity, ensuring our teams have everything they need to succeed.

‎Our new headquarters is four times the size of our previous London location, underscoring our deep commitment to London as a central hub for our operations. Synthesia started in London eight years ago and this significant expansion symbolizes our rapid growth and strategic investment in attracting and nurturing top talent in the UK. British Land’s Regent’s Place campus, situated in London's vibrant Knowledge Quarter, positions Synthesia at the very heart of a thriving community dedicated to knowledge, research, and innovation.

Kelly Cleveland, Head of Real Estate and Investment at British Land, said: “Synthesia’s decision to open their new headquarters at Regent’s Place is a strong endorsement of the campus’s status as a centre of AI activity in London, and supports the capital’s continued evolution as a global innovation hub. Synthesia’s presence will add to the dynamic ecosystem we have created here at the campus, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth and success.”

Building a global leader in AI

This strategic location brings us closer to many academic and research institutions, creating opportunities for collaboration and talent acquisition. Notably, we will be in close proximity to University College London (UCL), a globally respected institution where Synthesia’s co-founder Lourdes Agapito is a professor of 3D vision in the Department of Computer Science. Earlier this month, Synthesia’s contributions to R&D in the UK were recognized by the prestigious MacRobert award which is given out yearly by the Royal Academy of Engineering to companies that demonstrate outstanding innovation, tangible societal benefit and proven commercial success.

‎Synthesia is the global leader in AI video solutions for enterprises, recently surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue, with an impressive 100% year-over-year growth rate fueled by a growing customer base which includes 70% of the Fortune 100. Our new London headquarters will play a crucial role in expanding our capabilities in research and development, engineering, product innovation, and go-to-market.

In addition to facilitating business growth, our new workspace is designed to enhance the employee experience significantly. It includes numerous amenities to support well-being, collaboration, and productivity, ensuring our people thrive both professionally and personally.

As we settle in, we look forward to welcoming new and existing colleagues, and valued partners and customers to this new location. Together, we will continue to redefine what's possible with AI video technologies, driving further innovation and creating impactful solutions for our customers worldwide.
