Dub with XLIFF and bring your own translation

Dub imported videos with your own approved translations: export an XLIFF, translate it your way, and drop it back into dubbing.

Localization teams often already have approved translations and glossaries. Now your dubs can use those exact words, instead of machine translation you'd have to fix by hand.

What's new

  • Export the script of an imported video as an XLIFF file, and send it to your translators or translation management system
  • Drop the translated files into the dubbing window—each file's language is detected automatically, and you can mix them with machine-translated languages in the same run
  • Swap in a new translation for an existing dub with Update translation from XLIFF
  • Spot dubs created from your own translations by their XLIFF badge in your Library

For more on how it works, check out our documentation.
