When a voice misreads a price, a date, or an abbreviation, you have to spell everything out or fix it with pronunciation workarounds. Our stock voices now read these the way a person would.
What's new
Before a stock voice speaks your script, it now turns dates, money, times, units, abbreviations, Roman numerals, and more into exactly what should be said. For example:
- "We close on 7/4" → "July fourth"
- "The V8 makes 450 hp" → "four hundred fifty horsepower"
- "Read Chapter XVII" → "Chapter seventeen"
- "£5.50" → "five pounds and fifty pence"
Dates follow your locale too, so "03/04/2025" reads as "March fourth" in US English and "the third of April" in British English.
