How TD SYNNEX Scaled Multilingual Channel Enablement

We spoke with TD SYNNEX teams across EMEA and Latin America. For both teams, enablement content needed to move faster, reach more markets, and land in the languages partners actually use every day. With Synthesia, they found a way to scale content without adding headcount or relying on traditional production models.

The Challenge

Technology vendors create strong global enablement content, but it only drives impact when it's adapted to local markets β€” localized, timely, and relevant to how partners sell locally.

For TD SYNNEX, the challenge was how to take high-quality global vendor content and turn it into localized enablement at the speed and scale required by modern channel sales. Traditional production β€” scripting, recording, editing, and localization β€” meant a two-minute video could take three or more days. Localization added further complexity, requiring multiple handoffs and limiting how many markets could be supported in parallel.

Two regional teams faced this problem from different angles.

  • In EMEA, Markus Rieder, European Channel Enablement Manager at TD SYNNEX Datech, supports channel enablement for engineering software vendors across multiple European languages. His goal was to create a repeatable workflow that could help TD SYNNEX serve multiple European languages in parallel, rather than treating localization as a separate downstream project.
  • In Latin America, ValΓ©ria Portela, Lead Admin at TD SYNNEX Channel Academy, needed to adapt vendor materials into localized experiences for Brazilian Portuguese, Caribbean Spanish, and English. Her team supports partners across markets where language nuance matters, yet once spent 1.5 years producing six courses β€” a pace unsustainable for a fast-moving channel business. The goal was not simply to translate content, but to make enablement feel usable, accurate, and relevant for the people consuming it.

The Shift

With Synthesia, both teams were able to rethink the way enablement content was created.

Instead of studio-led recording, they could create localized video enablement directly from existing materials β€” PowerPoint decks, PDFs, webinar transcripts, vendor content.

This changed three things:

  • Eliminated dependency on recording sessions, studio booking, and re-recording for every revision
  • Made localization part of production, not a separate follow-on activity
  • Empowered the people closest to the enablement to create the content directly, moving faster while keeping learning locally aligned

In EMEA, Markus now starts with vendor-provided materials, such as a presentation or PDF, and turns them into localized enablement videos that can be released across multiple European languages. What previously took three days now takes two hours.

β€œWith Synthesia, we’re creating enablement content 80% faster. But the time savings aren’t the only benefit β€” we can now release across all our European languages at the same time. Translation is one of the key unlocks for our team.” β€” Markus Rieder, European Channel Enablement Manager, TD SYNNEX Datech

In Latin America, ValΓ©ria now uses Synthesia to turn global vendor content into localized learning experiences for Brazilian Portuguese, Caribbean Spanish, and English-speaking audiences. Now, she can work directly from source content and adapt it into formats that are useful for regional sales teams and partners.

β€œRecording six courses used to take a year and a half. With Synthesia, I can produce a full course in two weeks, in three languages.” β€” ValΓ©ria Portela, Lead Admin, TD SYNNEX Channel Academy

The Impact

With Synthesia, TD SYNNEX scales multilingual enablement across regions without scaling production resources.

  • 80% time savings in the production of enablement assets
  • 3 days β†’ 2 hours video creation timelines
  • 1.5 years β†’ 2 weeks course production
  • 1 creator vs. large production teams‍
  • 100+ courses produced by one person in a single year
  • ‍7 EMEA languages supported for simultaneous content release‍
  • 3 LATAM languages supported: Brazilian Portuguese, Caribbean Spanish, and English

The value extends beyond production speed. TD SYNNEX can now help vendors activate global content across local markets more effectively. Partners receive enablement in language, with regional relevance, and closer to the moment of market need.

Synthesia gives TD SYNNEX a faster, more flexible way to localize knowledge, activate partners, and extend vendor impact across regions.
