The Siegfried Group, LLP (Siegfried) is a national, relationship-driven professional services organization that helps CFOs and their executive teams clarify what matters most — then delivers elite financial talent to make it happen. Siegfried partners with financial executives at Fortune 1000 and other dynamic companies and provides them with a powerful combination of talent delivery, leadership advisory, and financial advisory services. Siegfried hires the best people to serve the best companies, and their people work under the direction and control of their clients to get things done better, faster, and more cost-effectively.
The Challenge
The Siegfried Group already had established ways to share information: a talented in-house video editor, recorded Zoom sessions, and written firm-wide communications. Each did its job well. But the two-person Technical Talent Development team, Marlie Stirparo and Dana Wehman, saw an opportunity to expand what they could produce on their own — and to make video a practical option for updates that wouldn't necessarily warrant a full production process.
Siegfried's professionals spend their days in client environments, where internal communications compete with a lot of other priorities. The team wanted more ways to deliver important updates — policy changes, compliance messages, new tool rollouts — in formats that were easy to engage with and that gave them visibility into who had absorbed the information.
"Our professionals are out serving clients — internal communications compete with a lot of noise. Things just got lost in the shuffle." — Marlie Stirparo, Qualitative Lead, Technical Talent Development, The Siegfried Group
The Solution
Synthesia came to The Siegfried Group’s attention as a top-down initiative through EVP George Siegfried, and the team was instantly hooked.
Marlie Stirparo and Dana Wehman, Qualitative and Quantitative Leads at The Siegfried Group, turned to Synthesia to expand what they could create themselves. The speed alone changed what was possible — when Siegfried rolled out a new software offering, the VP of IT sent over a script and Dana uploaded it directly into Synthesia. Two training videos were created, approved, and live in their LMS within 24 hours.
The format shift mattered just as much as the speed. When the general counsel had a firm-wide message to share, the team could add a two-minute video with a quiz at the end — another way to deliver the information, and one people could watch, engage with, and retain.
Studio avatars of internal team members gave the content a familiar, consistent face — making communications feel direct rather than broadcast. And with all training related video requests from sales, recruiting, HR, and legal flowing through Marlie and Dana, the team now owns the full workflow.
“Synthesia gives our teams another way to deliver information and makes video a practical option for use cases that may not have previously warranted a traditional production process.” — Megan Davis, Director of Marketing, The Siegfried Group
The Results
"With Synthesia, we can create videos in a matter of minutes. It's a lot faster and it allows us the flexibility to create content whenever we need it." — Marlie Stirparo, Qualitative Lead, Technical Talent Development, The Siegfried Group
- 14x faster script to video production
- 1,400+ employees trained in new Synthesia videos
- Multiple active use cases — IT tool training, select firm-wide communications, security training, sales role play, and internal process updates are considered on the Synthesia content creation roadmap
What's Next
Marlie and Dana are working to formalize their intake and approval process to handle growing demand from across the business. "There's really just no end in sight for Synthesia use cases. A new idea has come up every single day,” says Dana. Orientation for new employees is next on the roadmap — replacing repetitive monthly live sessions with on-demand video. Further ahead, Dana sees potential in using Synthesia to help employees prepare for client interviews, walking through industry-specific terminology and scenarios before they go on site.
"What keeps us excited is that Synthesia is always moving — new capabilities, new betas, always iterating. That's the kind of partner we want. It's not a client-vendor relationship, it's a partnership, and that's what we value at Siegfried." — Dana Wehman, Quantitative Lead, Technical Talent Development, The Siegfried Group
