Voice-over production used to involve real actors. Just to test a script, that would take days and cost hundreds of euros. Now we can polish the script 10 times in an hour, and make sure we only use real human performances when it's really needed.

There is no faster way to create a video quickly - you can't beat copy and pasting in some text and clicking go. Sometimes people want to have a video for something but do not adapt well to the visual medium. Ideally, a message is adapted to the medium, but in cases where that's not possible, the idea that something already written can be made into a video quickly is excellent.
